Are your sales down?
I see many people ask this question since quarantine has started in many parts of the world and I’ve seen the responses vary drastically. Here’s the thing. Every shop is not created equal and everyone’s journey is unique.
Some people have 3,000 listings while others have a respectable few hundred. Everyone’s style and following is different. Some people have VAs sharing their listings day in and day out, and other struggle to share half their closet in 2 days.
If sales are down for you right now it doesn’t mean you should give up or that you won’t make sales this month at all. It might mean you need to do a little more work. You only get out what you put in.
Take this down time to list that death pile, organize inventory, share/ promote your listings, and rephotograph and relist those pieces that aren’t moving.
It’s ok to take some days to rest and detach, but remember that consistency is key when you are first starting out. So if you’re a rookie, like me, take this time to revamp your reselling business and fix some of those things that aren’t working.
What are you doing for your business during quarantine??
